When we bought our house, my favorite part of it was instantly the fireplace. I adore fireplaces and always wanted one in my house someday. My grandma has a closed fireplace and she uses it all the time, I believe that is where my love for fireplaces came from.
Since we moved in our house in the spring, we haven't ever had a fire. So you can bet as soon as the weather showed signs of getting cooler I had plans of having a fire. The chance finally came and I loved it even more than I thought I thought I would. Here are some pictures of the event.
